The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role will report to our Director of Engineering. This position will be responsible for supporting the overall Engineering team through technical management of the construction, design, and implementation of complex CapEx projects related to the scale-up and commercialization of new technology initiatives at AIR COMPANY.

  • Collaborate with RD&E and Commercial department stakeholders to successfully manage and coordinate associated projects to meet desired business objectives related to scale-up and commercialization efforts.
  • Manage capital projects and oversee both internal and external engineering resources.
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan including timelines milestones and deliverables of own scope, and execute the project to complete tasks on time.
  • Develop and manage project budget and ensure project is within budget through execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to review design specifications, construction plans, and equipment selection.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage external engineering, equipment vendors, and construction resources for project design and execution.
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation and keep the executive team and other stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.

What you bring to AIR COMPANY

  • Bachelor’s degree within Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Environmental engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years experience in project management within oil & fuel, petrochemical or chemical industries
  • Experience with plant engineering and design
  • Experiencing managing EPC/EPCM Projects and multi discipline engineering teams
  • Proven technical knowledge of CapEx projects, construction management, maintenance practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills with a thorough understanding of task assignment, scheduling, budgeting, and efficient use of time and available resources.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, conflict resolution, and decision-making.

Bonus Points

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
