Job Description

AM Batteries is actively seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with a highly experienced team dedicated to industrializing the next generation of lithium-ion battery manufacturing technologies. The position is open at both intermediate and senior level, depending on experience. The successful candidate will leverage extensive expertise in the design of process equipment, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge battery manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Development and Mechanical Design: Work on the development and mechanical design of web handling equipment.
• Equipment Evaluation and Testing: Collaborate closely with process engineers to evaluate and conduct rigorous testing of the designed equipment, ensuring its seamless integration into the manufacturing process

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics/electric engineering, mechanical engineering.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in equipment design at the pilot level and above
• Skills: Proficiency in process control and scale-up methodologies.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing process equipment.
