We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Collection Driver. As a Data Collection Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and organizing data. You will need to have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a flexible schedule. • Safely operate autonomous vehicles in both manual and self-driving modes
• Create, conduct and document closed-loop experiments in coordination with the development teams
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of self-driving systems during test runs
• Collect data and report on vehicle behavior, system performance, and potential issues
• Provide detailed feedback to engineering teams to improve autonomous technology
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance autonomous driving capabilities
• Be in charge of the vehicle's maintenance and mechanical integrity

• Valid driver's license, often a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
• Clean driving record and excellent driving skills
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology and systems
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
• Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
• Basic technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in autonomous vehicle testing or related fields
• Background in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
• Familiarity with data collection tools and software
• Familiarity with Linux and Python
• Experience with fleet management or professional driving
