We are looking for a hands-on Head of Backend Infrastructure, DevOps & IT to lead our backend platforms, data infrastructure, DevOps practices, and internal IT operations. This role is critical to enabling large-scale training and validation of state-of-the-art autonomous driving systems.

• Lead backend infrastructure, DevOps, and IT functions end-to-end
• Build scalable services to manage and provision large volumes of visual and multimodal data
• Design, develop, and operate robust cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Own DevOps practices: CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, reliability, security, and cost optimization
• Manage internal IT systems, access control, networking, endpoints, and vendors
• Partner with AI and algorithm teams to support ML training and validation workflows
• Drive selection and adoption of new AI technologies, databases, DevOps tools, and third-party services
• Define and enforce best practices for scalability, availability, and security
• Lead and mentor backend, DevOps, and IT engineers

• 8+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Proven experience leading backend, DevOps, and IT teams or functions
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and hybrid or on-prem environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production operations
• Experience managing corporate IT environments and vendors
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and storage technologies
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads and data-intensive systems – strong advantage
• Strong ownership, leadership, and communication skills
