Autobrains is looking for a Site Manager to lead our on-site operations in Hanoi, Vietnam.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, project execution, customer-facing activities, and people leadership, and is critical to the success of our customer programs in the region.
Role Overview
The Site Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of on-site activities, including customer testing during development phases and through SOP, releases, system validation, and integration efforts. The role requires close collaboration with R&D, Product, Integration Engineers, drivers, and customers, while also managing and developing the local team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong technical background and a natural orientation toward project management and customer execution.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute customer testing activities during development and towards SOP readiness
- Own release execution at the site – planning, coordination, validation, and rollout
- Manage and oversee system testing and validation with drivers and Integration Engineers
- Act as the main interface between the Hanoi site and R&D / Product teams, ensuring smooth feedback loops from the field
- Identify issues in the field, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
- Manage day-to-day activities and priorities of the local on-site team
- Ensure high operational standards, clear processes, and on-time delivery across projects
- Support customer-facing technical execution with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Requirements

- Strong technical background (Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
- Experience working with complex systems, preferably in automotive, ADAS, or AI-based products
- Proven ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders
- Experience working directly with customers or external partners
- Leadership experience managing on-site or cross-functional teams
- Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with field operations, system integration, or validation activities
- Familiarity with automotive testing, perception systems, or embedded/Linux environments
- Experience working with global teams across different time zones and cultures
