Description

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented Controller to join our Finance team and report directly to the CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for a growth-oriented finance professional looking to take ownership, gain broad exposure in a dynamic global environment, and accelerate their career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, oversee bookkeeping, and support financial operations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage the financial operations of global subsidiaries.
  • Oversee corporate cards, company spending, and travel management systems.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities, including deposits and foreign currency hedging.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s equity-based compensation programs (ESOP), including option grants, vesting schedules, exercises, and coordination with external trustees and internal legal counsel.
  • Maintain and update the company’s capitalization table (Cap Table).
  • Manage the company’s insurance policies and renewal processes.
  • Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Perform financial analyses and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, with an emphasis on European and German statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare annual tax returns, transfer pricing calculations, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Lead annual audits and work closely with external auditors and advisors (EY).
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, financial processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • Israeli CPA certification – mandatory.
  • Completion of an internship at a Big Four accounting firm.
  • At least 1 year of post-internship experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting, ideally within the high-tech sector.
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling experience is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and fluent English.

Advantages

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Familiarity with equity accounting and ESOP administration.
  • Experience working with global companies, including multi-currency environments and consolidation of European subsidiaries.
  • Experience with German tax and statutory reporting requirements or working closely with teams in Germany (Munich), is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience with Priority ERP.
  • Experience using AI tools.
  • Experience with the Mesh system
