We are a fast-growing automotive technology startup seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to join our team in Shanghai. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the automotive industry in China.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand our presence in the Chinese automotive market
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and networking with potential clients and partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including automotive OEMs and T1s, suppliers, and technology partners
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to align on technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services
• Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform product roadmaps and strategic decision-making
• Lead and manage evaluation projects with customers, including Scope definition, installation support, tracking, and managing project timing and tasks to successful completion.

• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles within the automotive industry
• Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving revenue targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or a technical discipline)
