Overview
Joby is looking for an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead the successful planning and execution of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) projects. This role ensures that HR technology initiatives align with organizational strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and provide an optimal experience for all team members. This position offers a significant opportunity to drive impactful change and contribute directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our People team operations. This role will be based in our Santa Cruz, CA location.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for HRIS implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with HR and business stakeholders.
- Direct and manage the comprehensive process of identifying, evaluating, and selecting new software applications.
- Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to configure, test, and validate HRIS solutions.
- Work with vendors to ensure successful system integrations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies, training material development, and end-user support models to facilitate smooth go live and adoption of new HRIS solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and end-users post-implementation.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience managing technology projects, with at least 3 years specifically focused on HRIS implementation or significant upgrade projects.
- Demonstrated experience in leading at least one full-cycle HRIS implementation (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG, etc.).
- Functional understanding of various HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management).
Desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.
- Familiarity with process mapping and business process re-engineering.
- Experience with change management methodologies.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $110,400 - $175,600/yr. The compensation package offered will be determined by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
