About the role

To keep pace in this exciting, multi-disciplinary field, we’re looking for a Sr. Staff Signal and Power Integrity Engineer. You will be in a unique position to lead Signal Integrity and Power Integrity aspects of Recogni’s next generation cutting-edge AI Hardware design.

This hands-on role provides a unique opportunity to interact directly with ASIC, hardware design, PCB layout, software, product and operations teams to gather necessary requirements and specifications, and help come up with solutions to drive the product execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own Signal Integrity and Power Integrity aspects of hardware development
  • Hands on responsibility for conducting signal integrity simulations
  • Generate signal integrity rules for the high speed board routing as well as guide the team on optimizing Serdes settings
  • Work with the ASIC team to come up with optimized packaging and pinout on new devices
  • Hands on responsibility for optimizing power circuit for power integrity.
  • Support DVT and EMC testing activities and provide potential solutions for issues

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of hardware engineering and experience with product-cycle aspects therein.
  • Hands-on experience in board and system level hardware development and analyzing signal and power integrity.
  • Experience in having completed signal integrity simulations using modern simulation tools.
  • Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, BER testers
  • Demonstrable experience with EVT, DVT, PVT testing and certification processes is a plus.
  • Self-starter and highly-motivated to work in a dynamic start-up environment.
