About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager in Vehicle Dynamics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subjective and objective testing, chassis, suspension, brakes, and tire development. This role is crucial for enhancing the performance and safety of our vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Subjective and Objective Testing:

• Conduct and oversee comprehensive vehicle dynamics tests, including both subjective (driver feel) and objective (instrumented) assessments.
• Analyze test data to develop actionable insights and recommend improvements.
• Chassis Development :
• Lead the design, testing, and optimization of vehicle chassis systems to enhance handling, stability, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems into vehicle designs.

Suspension Development :

• Develop and refine suspension systems to ensure optimal ride comfort, handling, and safety.
• Utilize advanced simulation tools and real-world testing to validate suspension designs.
• Brakes Development :
• Oversee the development and testing of braking systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Implement innovative braking solutions to enhance vehicle control and safety.

Tire Development :

• Collaborate with tire manufacturers to develop and select tires that complement vehicle dynamics.
• Conduct tire testing and analysis to ensure compatibility with vehicle performance goals.
• Data Acquisition :
• Utilize data acquisition hardware such as 2D, VBOX, and AIM or other hardware to collect, analyze, and interpret vehicle dynamics data.
• Ensure accurate data collection and develop comprehensive reports to support development activities.

Team Leadership :

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.

Ideal Candidate :

• 8-10 years of relevant work experience in vehicle dynamics, with a strong emphasis on subjective and objective testing, chassis, suspension, brakes, and tire development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (BE) is a must.
• Master's Degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Proficient in using data acquisition hardware such as 2D, VBOX, and AIM or other loggers.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Familiarity with vehicle dynamics simulation tools and software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Leadership and project management capabilities.
