Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with product development, quality, operations teams to refine products and components for DFA, improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Design jigs & fixtures, gauges, create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Develop and introduce new manufacturing processes or improve existing ones to meet production volumes and quality standards. Maintain records of 4M changes, SOPs, testing results, and process improvements.
• Create and maintain MBOM in PLM, ERP systems and support the factory teams in any change implementation.
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve design or manufacturing issues during the production lifecycle. Conduct RCA of production issues and implement corrective actions.

Ideal Candidate :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing design engineering, product design, or related fields.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Fusion 360), other engineering design tools and google/excel spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices, use of statistics to manufacturing processes/methods.
