About Role

We are seeking an experienced System Validation Manager to lead system-level Validation efforts for electric vehicle platforms. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of EV electrical systems including high-voltage components, power electronics, BMS, ECUs, and in-vehicle communication networks. You will manage a system validation team, collaborate across disciplines, and oversee comprehensive test strategies to ensure robust and reliable EV products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement validation strategies for high- and low-voltage electrical systems in electric vehicles
  • Lead and mentor a team of system validation engineers and lab technicians
  • Oversee validation of key EV subsystems Interaction : Battery management systems (BMS), chargers, DC-DC converters, Motor controller unit and vehicle control unit
  • Utilize HIL, SIL and test automation tools to validate software and hardware integration
  • Coordinate validation activities and first touchpoint for failures with cross-functional teams including design, software, mechanical and manufacturing
  • Interface with suppliers, customers, and third-party labs for validation and certification activities
  • Maintain documentation including validation plans, risk assessments, traceability matrices and final reports

Ideal Candidate

  • B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ECE
  • 9 to15 years of experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, Mentorship, Team Building and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of EV architectures, powertrain systems and CAN protocol
  • Handling from concept to SOP and field issue resolution
  • Ability to translate system requirements into validation plans and test cases
  • Decision-Making, Strategic Planning, Budgeting, milestone tracking and risk management
  • Strong understanding of DFMEA, AIS-156, EMI/EMC testing, and other compliance processes
  • Experience with automotive validation tools (CAN analyzer, MATLAB/Simulink, NI LabVIEW, NI Diadem)
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions
