Key Responsibilities:
- This role is part project manager, part liaison, and part operations specialist. You are responsible for ensuring that every new Experience Center (EC) and Service Center (SC) is not just built, but launched as a fully functional, tech-enabled, and staffed business unit that adheres strictly to the company’s "Playbook".
- Site Selection: Evaluate and finalize strategic locations in collaboration with dealers to ensure maximum brand visibility and operational feasibility.
- Design Localization: Work with design agencies and dealers to adapt global or national Experience Center/Service Center templates to specific local floor plans.
- Technical Drawing Management: Liaison with design firms to ensure construction drawings (architectural, electrical, and plumbing) adhere to Company templates, are accurate and rolled out on time.
- End-to-End Execution: Manage the "Client-Side" of construction by coordinating between dealers, contractors, vendors and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) consultants.
- Brand Standards: Ensure the final fit-out, including graphics, signage, and accessorization, matches the brand’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Timeline Adherence: Maintain strict control over the project schedule to ensure the site launches on the committed date.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to troubleshoot real-time construction hurdles and ensure quality control.
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Manage the ordering process for fixtures, furniture, signage, and technical equipment through to installation
- Launch Logistics: Ensure all non-structural elements—such as POS systems, internet connectivity, utilities, and security protocols—are live before opening.
- Merchandising: Oversee the initial stock-in and visual merchandising according to corporate planograms.
- Process Compliance: Ensure every step of the setup follows the official Management Playbook.
- Certification: Coordinate with training departments to ensure all new hires complete the necessary brand and technical certifications before the launch.
Ideal Candidate:
- Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2–5 years of experience in Automotive Retail Build (EC/SC), Co-working space development, or Commercial Interior Fit-outs.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage vendors, MEP consultants, and contractors simultaneously across multiple projects
- Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to oversee site launches.
- Process Orientation: A disciplined approach to following playbooks and standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify site-specific constraints (e.g., odd space shapes or utility issues) and work with the design team to find viable solutions.
- The ideal candidate is someone who has spent the last few years "in the trenches" of commercial site launches. They should be as comfortable discussing electrical conduits with a contractor as they are discussing CRM integration with a software team or brand aesthetics with a dealer.
