Key Responsibilities:
- Music for Social Content – Create Original music for Instagram reels, social edits, product videos, YouTube videos, and other short-form content.
- Fast Turnaround Production – Produce tracks, loops, stems, and sound beds on quick timelines for fast-moving social media content.
- Trend Awareness – Stay updated on trending sounds, audio styles, reel formats, and music cues across Instagram and other short-form platforms.
- Trend Adaptation – Identify relevant audio trends and help adapt them for River’s content in a way that feels natural to the brand.
- Creative Collaboration – Work closely with editors, designers, writers, and content creators to support the pace, mood, and energy of each piece of content.
- Audio Production & File Management – Produce, mix, master, organize, and archive final music assets, stems, loops, and project files.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 – 5 years of experience in composing, producing, or directing music for video, advertising, branded content, films, or digital media.
- Strong understanding of music production workflows from composition to final mix.
- Proficiency in DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, or similar software.
- Working knowledge of MIDI programming, plug-ins, VSTs, sampling, mixing, and mastering.
- Ability to work across genres such as cinematic, ambient, electronic, acoustic, minimal, playful, and experimental music.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into suitable musical directions.
- Openness to feedback, fast iterations, and collaborative input.
- Strong file management and ability to maintain organized project archives.
- Personal taste and musical sensibility, while being able to serve the larger narrative.
- Bonus points for the ability to play an instrument, sing, or work with live musicians.
