Key Responsibilities

1. We are Looking for a highly motivated Reliability Test Engineer for the design & Reliability team. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in design of experiments and reliability testing of electrical, mechanical & electro-mechanical parts & systems. This role requires strong communication, in addition to being comfortable with working independently through ambiguities under minimal guidance and acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

3. Knowledge on Environmental, Vibration & climatic chambers is a Must
4. Recommend experiment designs or test methods, prepare samples, create reliability check list and own data collection, analysis, and reporting.
5. Perform testing of modules and systems and present status updates and reports.
6. Recommend new design fixtures and follow up with suppliers to secure test setups within deadlines.
7. Develop standard methods, training, and methodologies for competence development and share lessons learned.
8. Participate in product design processes to understand features, functions, and life cycle events for reliability assessment, including DFMEA.
9. Understanding the mathematical models for product reliability calculations.
10. Part of RCAs & 5 WHYs during Testing.

Ideal Candidate

1. Overall 2 to 3 years of experience in Reliability testing.
2. Hands on experience with reliability standards (ISO, IEC, MIL Std, etc.).
3. Hands on experience with Soldering skills, Instrumentation and lab equipment handling is a must.
4. Should have Fixture development skills, Help in developing rigs as per engineering feedback (mechanically & electrically).
5. Understand the power train system and provide ideas for testing.
6. Support in travelling to external labs on a need basis.
7. Support in extending working hours wherever required.
