Key Responsibilities

• You are responsible for setting up and leading BA - Production team related activities at River
• You are responsible for developing safe shopfloor meeting ISO14001 & 45001 standards
• Creating and maintaining all relevant documents meeting ISO9001 requirements
• Responsible for upholding processes, work instructions and necessary quality inspection steps to ensure timely readiness of products
• You are responsible for hiring, training & supervising engineers and technicians for production team
• You are responsible for developing a high performing team with a continuous improvement mindset
• You will be planning production shifts to ensure daily / monthly targets are met
• You will be Coordinating with other departments to ensure that equipment and materials are available for use by other departments as needed
• You will also be encouraged to suggest necessary changes in processes to make products easy to assemble. You will also be sharing your feedback wrt machines/ parts / processes to ensure ergonomics and efficiency
• You will be responsible for line balancing to optimize production line efficiency
• You will be responsible to optimize cost through COPQ reduction and consumable usage optimization
• You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining annual OpeX budget
• You are responsible for maintaining a clean work space promoting 5S

Ideal Candidate

• Has an excellent attitude to ensure production of a quality product
• 8+ years of experience in managing assembly lines to ensure production activities has been handled in a timely manner
• B.E/B. Tech - Mech/ Electrical / production Engineering
• Proven work experience as Production lead with relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills and people skills
