Key Responsibilities

  1. We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Systems Engineer to join our Electric Vehicle (EV) development team. This position will bridge the gap between hardware and software, possessing a strong foundational understanding of embedded system logic, safety standards, and testing methodologies.
  2. Architecture & Development: Contribute to the design and development of vehicle-level or component-level architecture for EV platforms.
  3. Logic & Testing: Derive system logics and write comprehensive test cases, with a strong focus on identifying and validating corner cases for embedded HW/SW systems.
  4. Documentation: Draft, review, and manage documents such as Product Requirements Documents (PRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Hardware Requirement Specifications (HRS), Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plans (DVP).
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams (mechanical, software, hardware) and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration.
  6. Lifecycle Management: Actively participate in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, from concept through to production.
  7. Projects: Owned or worked with at least one of the following projects/products end-to-end : VCU, ABS, Cluster, Telematics, BCM, TCU
  8. Diagnostics: Manage Field Failures with Interim Corrective Actions (ICA) while working on a Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA)

Ideal Candidate

  1. Experience: 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience working on vehicle architecture or component architecture, preferably within the EV domain.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  3. Embedded Systems: Solid understanding of the core logic behind embedded Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) systems.
  4. Technical Comprehension: Highly proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying technical data sheets and engineering drawings.
  5. Functional Safety: A strong "ISO 26262 mindset" with a working understanding of automotive functional safety standards.
  6. Automotive Protocols: Proficiency in standard vehicle communication networks, primarily CAN (Controller Area Network).
  7. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
  8. Basic to intermediate programming proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation, scripting, or basic tool development.
  9. Prior hands-on experience taking at least one component or architectural module through a complete development cycle.
  10. Knowledge or Hands-on experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
