As an intern, you will work on real, open-ended problems that directly contribute to the success of the company. You will work closely with your mentor and other employees who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills through high-impact projects. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.

Please note: these roles require you to work onsite at our Kent, WA office.

As the Marketing Intern at Stoke Space, you will support our day-to-day marketing operations, implementing both the brand vision and event strategies. This role requires a versatile professional who can execute across multiple channels and project types while maintaining brand consistency and measuring impact. Your work will directly contribute to Stoke's market positioning, recruiting success, and internal culture. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tactical marketing projects including recruiting campaigns, social media content, and employee communications
  • Manage the project lifecycle for marketing initiatives from planning through implementation and reporting
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather content for various marketing channels
  • Track and analyze metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and provide insights for improvement
  • Support the Director of Brand & Marketing in implementing strategic initiatives
  • Support video and photo production processes, including reviews and approvals
  • Develop and maintain marketing calendars and content schedules to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

  • Hand-on or educational experience in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Interest in the space industry, manufacturing and technology
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with copywriting and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
  • Able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10-12 consecutive weeks starting in May/June 2026

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing in aerospace, government or technical industries
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Background in recruiting marketing or employer branding
  • Familiarity with video production processes and basic design principles

Compensation

  • Freshman/Sophomore: $28.00/hour
  • Junior/Senior: $33.00/hour
  • Completed Bachelor's: $35.00/hour
  • Completed Master's: $40.00/hour

ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
