Job Description

Third Wave Automation is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain the frontend web application that makes it easier to automate forklifts.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop features and improvements to the TWA Solution in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (Frontend, UX, Operations etc.) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Ship moderate sized features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
• Participate in code reviews and proactively contribute towards good coding practices for the whole team.
• Work with a variety of data stores including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Memcache

Desired Qualifications

• 10+ yrs of experience
• BS is computer science, engineering or related field
• React, ReactJS, Redux, Websockets, webRTC, Python, REST, SQL, MongoDB
• Responsive Web & Mobile applications
• Cypress framework, UI automation frameworks
• Integrations with CI/CD
• Kubernetes & Docker containers
• Build systems (like Bazel)
• Experience with deploying products to production
• Experience with Linux

Bonus Points For

• MS in computer science, engineering or related field
• Exposure to backend development
• Exposure to video streaming applications, with extremely low latency
• Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions

The pay range for this position is a national range $140,000 - $190,000/yr+ benefits+equity; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location.
