Join us as a Government Partnerships Portfolio Manager to lead strategic collaborations with U.S. Government agencies. This role is crucial for nurturing partnerships that align with our goals. We seek a candidate with a deep understanding of U.S. Government defense and a strong background in engineering and leadership. Help us make a significant impact at Xona Space Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans and strategies to enhance collaborations and partnerships with U.S. Government customers.

  • Lead internal planning efforts to strengthen strategic initiatives and program alignment to build or enhance government partnerships.

  • Participate in sales lead generation to pursue new business development opportunities, via online engagements and industry conferences.

  • Lead proposal and bid efforts for new government contracts.

  • Effectively communicate with customers and partners to align goals.

  • Engage engineering and product teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable progress on core initiatives.

  • Coordinate interconnected programs, ensuring alignment of goals, resources, timelines, and dependencies across initiatives.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint (PPT Ranger), capable of creating impactful and persuasive presentation materials.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot for effective relationship and data management.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain a comprehensive view of high-level strategic goals.

  • Strong multitasking abilities, adept at managing diverse initiatives and priorities concurrently.

  • Excellent presentation and briefing skills for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Secret or higher security clearance.

  • Proven experience working with the U.S. Government, particularly in defense industry.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting and procurement processes.

For U.S. Roles: To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e. Green Card holder), or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

For U.K. Roles: To comply with U.K. regulations, this role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, and successful candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).

For Canada Roles: Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
