The Process Engineer will join the engineering team responsible for all facets of technology industrialization, equipment design, process and product development, facilities design, and operational support. We’re seeking a self-driven, hands-on individual prepared to work in a dynamically changing environment. This role involves process optimization and development, pilot equipment operation, experimental execution, and meticulous documentation of process data and results. The engineer will contribute to developing a comprehensive knowledge base as part of AM Batteries' commitment to transparency, innovation, collaboration, and openness.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Development & Optimization: Perform process improvements and development activities on pilot lines to optimize efficiency and output.
• Equipment Design & Upgrades: Design, fabricate, and implement enhancements to coating lines, analytical rigs, and other critical equipment.
• Facility Support & Troubleshooting: Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of facilities, ensuring reliability and uptime.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to process, equipment, and pilot spaces to enhance overall performance.
• Process Scale-Up: Collaborate on process scale-up designs to facilitate seamless transition from pilot to full production.
• Project Support: Participate in various projects as needed, contributing expertise and technical insight.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in industrial environments with a focus on material processing.
• Hands-on experience with powder processing and converting systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with web handling and coating processes/equipment (preferred).
